Last Thursday the members of the CHIO Port Club Rotterdam had dinner at the Longines FEI European Championships.

Rotterdam companies, active in the maritime & offshore sector, together form the CHIO Port Club Rotterdam (CPCR). This Legacy Partner of CHIO Rotterdam has a warm heart for equestrian sports in general and CHIO Rotterdam in particular. This business platform connects the port and the city through equestrian sports, but also brings people and companies together. The 29 members of the CPCR meet several times throughout the year. These meetings are organized by the members and they are in line with various port initiatives in Rotterdam.

During the dinner at the Longines FEI European Championships the growth of the business network, visibility and upcoming events were discussed. Cooperation is sought with the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council and Rotterdam Partners. Rotterdam Partners certainly sees opportunities to strengthen the CPCR in its role within the port and city of Rotterdam and on an international level. On behalf of the CPCR, Peter Goedvolk handed over a cheque of € 10.000,= to Fred Rozendaal for the program Werken als een Paard. Of course the members were also included in the greatness of this European Championships and were already looking forward to 75 years CHIO Rotterdam in 2023!
