What is the address of the Longines FEI European Championships Rotterdam 2019?
The Longines FEI European Championships Rotterdam 2019 are held at the edge of the Kralingse Bos. Information about how to get there can be found through this link.

What are the opening times of the different areas?
Rotterdam Arena
The Rotterdam Arena is open an hour before the first class until the end of the last class/price giving every day. Latest half an hour after the end of the last class/price giving, the Rotterdam Arena will be closed.

Para-Dressage Arena
The Para-Dressage Arena is open from Wednesday to Sunday, half an hour before the first class until the end of the class.

The Boulevard
The Boulevard is open every day from 10am until 11pm. Visitors with a Rotterdam Arena ticket need to be at the Boulevard before 8pm, otherwise they have to purchase a new ticket.

Restaurant de Tuin
Restaurant de Tuin is outside of the event grounds, but you can have lunch and dinner here. Restaurant de Tuin is open Monday through Thursday as well as Sunday, from 10am until 1am. On Friday and Saturday Restaurant de Tuin is open from 10am to 2am.

How can I get to the event grounds?
There are multiple ways to get to the event grounds. Here you can find the possibilities.

Where can I park my car?
Visitors can park at the Boezembocht, entrance Rolf Hartkoornweg. You can park your car here and a shuttle bus will drop you off at the entrance of the European Championships. The stop where you get off is also the boarding point to return to the parking lot.

Parking tickets can be bought in advance (www.rotterdam2019.com/tickets) or if available on the parking lot at the traffic controller when you enter the premises but full = full. There is a limited number of parking spaces.
Tip: buy your parking ticket online. Easier, faster and cheaper.

If you did not buy a parking ticket in advance, keep an eye on the website for the current status. It is possible that this parking lot is full and you will be directed to another parking lot.

The parking lot opens 1.5 hours prior to the start of the program and closes every day at 11:45 pm (on Sundays the site closes at 7:30 pm).

Where can I book accommodation?
This link brings you to the website of the Rotterdam tourist information, through which you can find and book an accommodation.

Are dogs allowed on the event grounds?
Dogs are not allowed on the event grounds.

Are program changes possible?
Changes in the program are still possible. You can find the most recent program on the website.

Which items are not allowed on the event grounds?
- It is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into the event. There are several catering facilities on the event grounds.
- Glass is not allowed on the stands.
- You are not allowed to bring an umbrella, but rain clothes and ponchos are allowed.
- Weapons, drugs and alcohol are not allowed onto the grounds. There may be a bag check at the entrance.

Can I leave the event grounds and come back later?
You are allowed to leave the event grounds during the day.

Can I buy food and drinks close by the Rotterdam Arena and Para-Dressage Arena?
There are limited catering facilities around the Rotterdam Arena and the Para-Dressage Arena. At the Boulevard and in the Restaurant De Tuin you can find more extensive facilities.

Can I take food and drinks onto the stands in the arena?
You are allowed to take food and drinks to the stands. Drinks will be served in plastic, glass is not allowed on the stands. You are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to the event grounds.

Is there enough time in the breaks to go to the Boulevard and come back in time for the next competition?
There may be multiple breaks during the competitions. This can differ per competition. There are short and long breaks. The duration of the break will be announced clearly by the speaker. The breaks will also be specified in the starting lists.

Are there lockers available?
There are no lockers available on the event grounds.

I would like to take pictures during the Longines FEI European Championships Rotterdam 2019, is that ok?
Visitors of the EC's 2019, who are not in possession of press accreditation, are allowed to take pictures during the events. Please note that you are not allowed to use flash (as it might scare the horses) and that it is very important not to disturb other visitors. Selfie sticks are not allowed. The pictures are exclusively for private use and may not be used for commercial purposes.

Am I allowed to film during the event?
Without official permission by the organisation of the Longines FEI European Championships Rotterdam 2019, you are not allowed to take videos of the competition and other activities that take place on the event grounds. Can the organisation of the Longines FEI European Championships be held responsible for theft or loss?
Visitors are responsible for their own possessions. The organisation cannot be held accountable for theft, destruction or loss of visitor’s possessions. The organisation advises to not take valuables to the event and/or to leave them in the car.

Where can I go for the ‘lost and found’?
If you have found a lost item, please bring it to the information stands. If you lost something, it can be found at the information stand at the entrance during the event. After the end of the event you can get in touch with the general secretariat via +31 (0) 10 452 89 00 or info@chio.nl.

How can I pay on the event grounds?
The Longines FEI European Championship Jumping, Dressage and Para Dressage Rotterdam 2019 will be a fully cashless event. This means that the payments, at all food and drink locations on the grounds, go through debit and credit card and not with cash.

Which tickets can I buy?

Rotterdam Arena
There are tickets for the Rotterdam Arena every day. On Thursday and Saturday there are 2 program items in the Rotterdam Arena. Tickets can be bought for each program item. If you buy a ticket for both program points, you get 10% discount.

With a Rotterdam Arena ticket you also have access to the Boulevard. The Boulevard is open every day from 10am. You have free admission until 8pm with a Rotterdam Arena ticket. If you want to go the Boulevard after 8pm you have to buy a separate entrance ticket, so make sure you’re at the Boulevard before 8pm. De Boulevard is open daily until 11pm.

Do you want to come to the EC 2019 the entire week? We offer three types of all session tickets:

• All session dressage
• All session jumping
• All session dressage and jumping

Para-Dressage
With a Rotterdam Arena ticket you also have access to the Para-Dressage Arena. Para-Dressage starts on Wednesday up to and including Saturday at 9am and on Sunday at 8am. Admission is on the basis of first come, first served.

Boulevard
If you want to enjoy the atmosphere of the Longines FEI European Championships, you can buy a ticket to the Boulevard. The Boulevard at the Kralingse Plas is full of activities with view of the Skyline of Rotterdam. At the Boulevard you can find stands, food trucks, children’s activities and an everyday changing entertainment program. With this ticket you do not have access to the Rotterdam Arena, but you do have access to the Para-Dressage Arena. Para-Dressage start on Wednesday up to and including Saturday at 9am and on Sunday at 8am. Admission is on the basis of first come, first served.

Are there any extra costs next to the ticket costs?
In addition to the ticket costs, € 2,50 service costs will be charged per ticket.

I accidentally bought the wrong tickets, what should I do?

Can I return my tickets?
Tickets cannot be returned.

Can children go in for free?
Children until 3 years have free entrance, but without the right to a seat. For children between 4 and 12 we offer a special children price.

How many tickets can I buy online?
You can buy a maximum of 19 tickets a day. If you want to come with a group of 20 people or more, please contact the organization: +31 (0)10 4528900 or info@chio.nl.

Is it possible to buy tickets at the entrance?
Yes, it is possible. Please note: There is a possibility that tickets will be sold out, so please keep an eye on the website. Tip: buy the tickets online – easier, faster and cheaper.

Can I use my ticket on my phone for scanning at the entrance?
Of course, but we do advise to have a printed ticket with you to be on the safe side. Don’t forget to put your phone screen on full brightness so the barcode can be scanned easily.

I have a ticket for the morning, afternoon or evening program in the Rotterdam Arena, can I already come early or stay longer?
On Thursday and Saturday we have multiple program items in the Rotterdam Arena within a day. You can enter the Rotterdam Arena 60 minutes before the start of the class which you have the ticket for.

The Boulevard opens its doors every day at 10am.

With a Rotterdam Arena ticket you also have access to the Para-Dressage Arena. Para-Dressage starts on Wednesday through Saturday at 9am and on Sunday at 8am. Admission is on the basis of first come, first served. The arena opens half an hour before the start of the first class of the day.

How much do tickets to the Para-Dressage Arena costs?
There are no separate tickets to the Para-Dressage Arena. With a ticket to the Rotterdam Arena or to the Boulevard you automatically have entrance to the Para-Dressage Arena. Admission is on the basis of first come, first served.

What are less visibility seats?
There is a limited amount of tickets with poor visibility of the arena in the Rotterdam Arena. It could be possible that a part of the arena is not visible. These tickets are cheaper than tickets with good view of the arena. These seats are indicated when you select your seats.

Is it possible to visit the EC's with a wheelchair?
Yes, it is possible to come with a wheelchair. In the Rotterdam Arena we have a few selected seats available for people in a wheelchair, possibly with an accompanying person. You can buy special wheelchair seats for this. Your companion also buys a ticket for the wheelchair area.

When do I get a confirmation?
After you finished the booking process you will receive a booking confirmation. Save this confirmation. If you have questions in response to the booking confirmation, please get in touch with EventsIT with your confirmation: +31 (0)10 7900060 of ticketing@eventsIT.nl.

How do I get my ordered tickets?
If you ordered your tickets through the website, you will get the tickets send per mail. Tickets that are ordered online always have to be paid directly. If you ordered the tickets by phone and asked to have them sent by post, we will post them until up to 1 week before the EC 2019 (after payment for the tickets). If you buy tickets within one week of the EC 2019, you will receive a booking code with which you can pay for and collect your tickets at the entrance. If you ordered the tickets by phone and asked to have them delivered by mail, the tickets will be sent after successful payment.

Can lost tickets be replaced?
Tickets that you lost cannot be replaced by the organisation.

Is the online ticket purchasing process secure?
The process of online purchase of the tickets is secured by SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer). You can see this through the “s” in the https://in the website address, which stands for SSL encryption.

Can I also buy tickets somewhere else apart from the EC 2019 website?
If you buy tickets anywhere else other than our website, we cannot guarantee that these tickets have not been resold more often and are legitimate. We advise you to only buy tickets on our website.
