Giant EC Horse

From 25 April to the Longines FEI European Championships Jumping, Dressage and Para-Dressage 2019 in August, a huge wooden EC horse will tour in Rotterdam. The giant horse will be shown during various pop-up events where teams are challenged to pull the horse a few meters ahead.

For the "pop-up" events teams in different categories can pre-register via this website from may. On April 25, the European Championship horse will be seen for the first time at the future European Championship venue, De Rotterdamsche Manège. After that the first competitions will take place. With a final that will take place before the start of the European Championship on August 19. The Iconic horse can be seen on the grounds of the European Championships during the European Championships. No more competition is held at this location. Naturally, visitors can be photographed with the largest horse of the European Championship.

Collaboration with Rotterdam Festivals
This side event is co-organized by Rotterdam Topsport and the Sportbedrijf Rotterdam. Participating in art and culture increases the quality of life in the city, stimulates the personal development of people and increases the bonding of residents. This fits in perfectly with the overall theme of the European Championships: "Connected by Horsepower". With the horse we want to activate as many people as possible and bring movement and contact with each other.
